The Acropolis dominates central Athens and
other archeological sites in the city, including the Roman and Ancient Agoras and the Kerameikos Cemetery. Just
south of the city is the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio.

Traveling around the mainland of Greece and the Peloponnese, we
visited Meteora with its monasteries spectacularly situated on rock pillar clifftops,
the ancient site at Delphi, and Olympia which was the
home to the Olympic Games for hundreds of years.
